We went on a great skiing adventure last Saturday! Rowan and a friend took off on their own and headed up the mountain, Murphy headed to 2 hours of ski school, I headed up on the lower slopes to get a couple runs in before the 2 hours of ski school were over, and Jesse kept our friend and his 10-month-old company in the lodge. Don’t worry, Jesse got to snowboard in the afternoon.

After 2 runs for me, I came back & took some pictures of Murphy. Our friend and her son were also taking lessons, so I got some great pictures of them, too.

Murphy fell in love with the little jump they put out on the Bunny Hill. On Sunday, I peeled him away from the jump enough for him to prove to me that he could turn while skiing. I told him he had to show me before I would take him up on the next sized hill. He fell a lot but rocked it on that bigger hill. Myu Saturday afternoon and Sunday morning (we left about noon) were spent hanging with Murphy. All in all, it was a great weekend and Rowan is going to go up with his friend over their Spring Break, so they must have had fun. Since they are both teen-agers, they did not regale us with many tales.
